These are the traditional cookies of New Mexico, biscochitos. Our neighbor makes the BEST and after delivering some to us, I painted them pronto before devouring their sweetness.
About Julie Maas
As a fine artist, my favorite ways to create for others include painting beautiful landscapes and florals, capturing the character of beloved pets, and saving memories in still life with color, texture, line, shape and shadow. Since earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Colorado State University, I continue to expand my art skills by studying, practicing, teaching and observing the shapes, shadows, textures, and colors of my surroundings.
